CP (Crease Pattern) for folding the model. CP on the right shows the most necessary folds; additional folds from the CP on the left can be test-folded using pre-creased lines as guides. I would recommend folding them that way so that the model stays in shape through outwards pressure; though, folding all the lines may also lead to a clean result.
The most important thing to know is that you will need to trisect each section created by two diagonals.
This model is based off the key and keycap models that had a square pyramidal shape to them. The issue I was facing there was that there was an overlap of the hidden layers inside the model which had to be spread or dealt with some other way. I realized that trisecting each quarter of the model instead would lead to perfect dimensions with zero overlap and maximized space. Although an origami method of trisection exists, I usually use the trial-and-error method which happens to work quite well for me.
